Mail was delivered today after I again let in the postal worker, but with the main entrance open, deliveries, and guests will now be able to get in and out of the building as they normally would.
The work was actually completed a day earlier than anticipated, per the official Prostar notice.
There is no timeline yet on completion of the Phase 1 extension area, but I believe council has decisions to make regarding sloping and drains, which should happen soon.
UPDATE, 7 pm, July 9, 2026: Work was actually completed a day early, access to the 244 main entrance is now open.
As the title states, Prostar has released the following notice stating the Building 244 main entrance will be open again to pedestrian access by tomorrow, July 10, 2026:
Weather: 23°C, mostly cloudy, sun late
Workers onsite: At least four

I also let the letter carrier in for the third day in a row. Apologies if she only brought you bills!

Also of note: I once again let the mail delivery person in, so we got mail delivery for a second day. Someone else apparently let in an Amazon delivery person as I could see new packages in the lobby (mailroom) and delivered to units on the ground floor. Whoever did that, thanks!
Weather: 29°C, sunny
Workers onsite: At least six

As noted before, Prostar refused to give a time estimate of how long this work will take, nor have they explained how the mail and other deliveries will get in when the workers placed red caution tape directly (and extensively) in front of the doors.
I am giving my own estimate of 3–14 days for completion. At least the weather does not look to be a factor.
