Enterphone replacement notice

This was an official notice sent out by Quay Pacific by email. The full text is below.

Dear Owners & Tenants,

The enterphone to each building has been replaced.

Your new buzzer code is the same 4 digits of your unit number.

If your enterphone buzzer does not work, you must email the Caretaker copperstonecaretaker@gmail.com and provide the following information:

Your Unit #:

Name to be displayed on the Enterphone:

Phone number that will connect to Enterphone:

Please note that long distance numbers will not be accepted.

As I mentioned before, the key to buzz the door open is now the asterisk (*), not the zero key (0) or 9 key.

Enterphone installation complete, August 7, 2026

Omicron started a bit late, but finished installing the new enterphones in all three buildings right on schedule.

A few items to note:

  • Programming on all enterphones should be complete and matches what was in the system before
  • Unit numbers are not shown, as before, just buzzer codes
  • You can now buzz a unit by just tapping on the name, no need to enter the buzzer code
  • On the other end, a recording will play giving the owner/resident options. To buzz someone in, you now press the asterisk key (*), not the number zero (0)
  • I do not know what “PIN unlock” does

I’m assuming Omicron will provide more information on the operation of the units. I will post any new information if I get it.

Minor delay in Enterphone replacement–work today on Building 240 (Aug. 6, 2026)

UPDATE: The 240 building enterphone replacement is complete, see photo below.

It has a light!

The previously announced schedule for Enterphone replacement was:

  • Building 240: Aug. 5
  • Building 244: Aug. 6
  • Building 248: Aug. 7

However, Omicron was not onsite yesterday. I can confirm the 240 building Enterphone is being replaced as I type this, so they appear to be one day behind schedule. I’m not sure how this will affect Buildings 244 and 248.

I’ll update this post if I get more information.

NOTE: Fobs will continue to work normally while the Enterphone is being replaced, so entering a building will work as normal for residents. Each Enterphone is estimated to be out of service for about eight hours while being replaced.
