Emergency membrane repair/Phase 1 completion (pre-Phase 2 work), Day 8

Work done today:

  • Fencing added to protect patio near existing protective barrier for trees
  • Fencing added around the C can
  • Safety sign erected on east side of driveway entrance
  • Further clearing of the Phase 1 area in front of the 244 building, including stripping and removal of membrane
Fencing on right added to protect patios, due to narrow pathway leading to easement.
Fencing added around C can, possibly to protect the wooden blocks supporting the one end.
Basic site rules sign. These are for the workers, not residents.
The expanded and mostly cleared area in front of the 244 building.
This planter next to the 248 building still needs to be removed, as the work area comes up to the edge of the 248 building.
Fun Fact 1: This drain was underneath the planter to the right of the 244 building entrance. It was clogged full of dirt and useless. A new drain (outside the planter) will be put in that will alleviate water pooling.
Fun Fact 2: A lot of the patios are half concrete/half wood. This was done to save money at the time of construction. The wood part is where the “hole” is in this photo.
