Work done today:

  • The excess fabric was trimmed along the top edge of the concrete curb at the base of the retaining wall behind the 244 building.
  • The area in the first tier of the retaining wall to the right of the ventilation shaft was tidied up and soil was used to fill the space. The soil was taken from further down the first tier.
  • It appears the exposed electrical cable on the pavers was placed under the pavers.
  • Soil was also taken from the pile at the front of the site, but I could not determine where it went.
  • Workers onsite: Two.

I believe the spout in the photo above is the one seen in this photo I took yesterday, just visible near the small flag near the centre of the photo:

I decided to take a walk along the newly-reopened path leading to the stairs and found a few things that stood out–not in a good way.
