No work onsite today. The biweekly meeting took place onsite.
A few things to note here: My partner Jeff is currently the Vice President of Copperstone Council and has been representing owners at the biweekly meetings between all parties on the membrane replacement project. He has been writing the updates on the project which are distributed to owners (a new one will be ready soon). He dictates what is to go into the updates, and I type it out and format them to present to council for review. This means I am privy to some information before it gets widely released. I do not share this information with others, nor do I publish it here.
But the membrane project has reached a strange point and I can choose one of two paths going forward:
- Stop providing updates until certain key decisions are made.
- Continue to provide updates where I’m pretty much saying, “Nothing is happening.”
I am going with the second option above–I will keep tracking the days until Phase 1 is officially declared complete, but it seems, barring extraordinary circumstances, nothing more will be done apart from addressing a few lingering deficiencies, so the daily updates will stop.
